Jonah Sirtes
Founder / CEO
Jonah leads the teaching and creative direction of Lunchbox Studios. He is responsible for lesson quality, tutor selection, and overall student outcomes. With a background in composition and many years of teaching experience, he ensures that every lesson is structured, engaging, and tailored to the individual, while maintaining a consistent standard across all tutors.

Lia Maor Freedman
Head of Operations
Lia oversees client communication, scheduling, and day-to-day operations. She manages bookings, onboarding, and ensures that every student has a smooth and reliable experience from first enquiry through to ongoing lessons. Her role focuses on keeping the business organised, responsive, and running efficiently as it grows.

Ed Rodrigues
Drums - Thornleigh
Ed Rodrigues holds a Bachelor's, Honours, and Master's in Jazz Performance from the Australian National University (ANU) and has toured nationally and internationally with many artists since 2009. With over 20 years of drum teaching experience, he specialises in making drumming accessible for all skill levels, from complete beginners to university-level students.

Alex Nicholls
Drums - Waterloo
Alex is an experienced musician, composer, teacher and graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. His band, Mansionair, has been a mainstay of the Australian music scene for the past decade. Patient, personable and adaptable, Alex helps students find their unique voice through creativity. His experience across multiple instruments gives him a well-rounded approach to music.

Joshua Mejia
Guitar & Bass - Surry Hills
Joshua is an experienced guitar and bass teacher and performer based in Surry Hills. With five years of teaching experience, he teaches rock, pop, funk and jazz. A regular performer around Sydney, Joshua specialises in jazz and is also active in the city's musical theatre scene. His lessons focus on developing strong musicianship while fostering a genuine passion and enjoyment of music.

Elysia Castillejo
Flute - Glenmore Park
Elysia is a current student at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, specialising in flute education. Having played the flute since childhood, she is passionate about helping students develop their technique, confidence, and musical expression. She enjoys making lessons engaging and accessible for students of all ages and abilities, while fostering a genuine enjoyment and appreciation for music.

Samina Rowhani
Piano & Guitar - Marrickville
Samina is a composition student at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with over 18 years of musical experience. She has extensive knowledge of piano, composition, music theory, guitar, performance, and songwriting. As an experienced singer-songwriter, she has performed live with many bands at a variety of venues. Samina is passionate about helping students build confidence, develop creativity, and foster a lifelong love of music.
